One of the first few things I did in Bangkok was to look for restaurants that serve halal food. I first thought that this would be a difficult thing to do but I was wrong. I found a few restaurants in just a couple of days!
The restaurant that is featured here is Yana Restaurant. Located at Zone A of the 5th floor in MBK Center, Yana Restaurant serves Thai and International Halal Food. The food is delicious and moderately priced. My wife and I ordered a bowl of seaweed soup (with chicken), stir fried chayote leaves, plain omelet, chicken fried rice, steam rice and two water chestnut in coconut milk and they cost us less than THB500 (MYR50). There are also other halal food stalls available in The Fifth Food Avenue on the same floor such as Sultana (Thai) and Ali’s Arabic Cuisine (Arabic). There are also Indonesian (Jimbaran) and Indian (Chutney) stalls available.
MBK Center is located in Phaya Thai Road-Rama I Road intersection. It is just a walking distance from Central World, Siam Paragon, Siam Center and Siam Discovery. MBK Center is also linked with National Stadium BTS station.
